Donnacha Treacy is an Irish sculptor from Galway with over twenty years of experience in sculpture. All his work is cast in his fine art bronze foundry and draws on an interest in the beauty of our created world. The bold subjects of his sculptures are found through Treacy’s artistic process. He journeys into clay in search of elusive qualities, finding his characteristic style in this dynamic act. He has designed the artwork for the Admiral William Brown Promenade and portraits for the Seven Signatories of the Proclamation of the Irish Republic and many other portraits. His imaginative bronze figurines and racehorses have been displayed in the RHA Dublin VUE Contemporary Art Fair and RDS Fine Art Fair.
